100% Merlot from Walla Walla. This Merlot is a small lot (2 ton, 119 Cases), hand crafted and aged in barrel for 21 months. It shows anise, baking spices and provencal herbs on the nose along with bright ripe red fruit. Lucid flavors of black cherry, ripe strawberry, boysenberry, and wild huckleberry offer an exciting pallete as it develops in the glass and finishes with a rich mocha velvet texture.

Aria Vineyard is a boutique, family-owned vineyard taking advantage of the unique terroir that is Walla Walla's Southside. Planted in 1996 with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Sunny, clear location overlooking the Blue Mountains and Oregon to the south.

This beautiful Merlot from Walla Walla underwent a 35 day extended maceration and was aged in a combination of French and American oak, most of the oak profile is American puncheon.

Great wine, one of our favorites! The several times we have had this and shared with others, it did not disappoint. My pallet isn't as sophisticated as Isaac's, but I got the black cherry and I believe the boysenberry, with a wonderfully velvety finish.
